Class Delivery & Teaching Skills

This course develops the practical skills required to confidently lead safe, engaging group exercise classes. You will learn how to structure warm-ups and cool-downs, demonstrate and cue movements clearly, manage transitions, select appropriate music, and adapt exercises for different abilities within the same class. Emphasis is placed on communication, class flow, and creating a positive group environment across multiple class formats.

Formats, Safety & Employability

You will gain exposure to a wide range of group exercise formats including HIIT, bootcamps, step, kickboxing, indoor cycling, kettlebells, aquatic exercise, and suspension training. The course also covers injury prevention, special populations, equipment use, and professional responsibilities, preparing you to teach safely and confidently in gyms, studios, and community fitness settings.
